Person walking in light rain

April and May in Lagos are the worst months to commute. Our team gets caught in storms more often than we'd like, and over the years we've narrowed down what actually keeps you dry.

Top of the list: a packable rain jacket that fits in a tote. We carry two — both under ₦35,000 — and they're worth every naira.

Second: actual waterproof shoes. Not 'water-resistant' — waterproof. The marketing terms are not the same.
